Back-up sensors have become the black sheep of the aftermarket. Unreliable sensing distance, erratic operation and unattractive sensors have made them a low-priced, low-profit, high return commodity. A year ago, Rydeen set out to change all that and make the category a real profit center for aftermarket retailers. The new “400 series” Parking Sensor systems are the result of that extensive research and development.

  What's the Difference?

Others: Most parking sensor systems work from an average of 4 feet.
Rydeen: Thanks to premium sensors and better fault processing, 400 series units reliably sense obstacles from 8 feet away.

Others: Drivers hear beeps with no visual indication.
Rydeen: Two of the 400 series systems can output distance-to-object information on any monitor with a composite input. Or, add the dash-mounted distance meter to the entry level sensor system.
Others: Installers have to add wiring to make systems fit different vehicles.
Rydeen: Each applicable system comes with extension cables to allow them to be installed in just about any vehicle without splicing.
Others: Rear-mounted spare tires or tow hitches interfere with sensing capability.
Rydeen: Our movable stop point allows professional installers to push the sensing threshold outside the tire or tow hitch.
